I didn't end up in any kind of trouble for my choices, and I find that bothersome when there is supposed to be a whole section of the lore dedicated to morality. Perhaps this would have done well to flesh out the story and enhance our agency over the world. Reading around other sites, it seems that there was supposed to be a 'dark wizard' or 'gray wizard' path based on our choices.

Other than some dialog changing I am not treated differently or set on a different path otherwise. Moreover, our choices didn't make much difference in how we were perceived or how the game unfolded. Isadora's backstory was far more interesting than Rankroks and I would have preferred to fight her instead.
